After graduating Magna cum Laude with a degree in Journalism, I began my career as a copywriter at a digital marketing agency in Atlanta. From there, I’ve been a corporate marketing strategist for a Fortune 100 brand, a freelance copywriter that’s worked across B2B, B2C, and DTC, a marketing consultant for a variety of verticals, and a Sunday Times Best Selling author that finds immense joy in torturing her legion of readers with vague teasers about the next book in the series.

I’m a passionate writer with a knack for research and seamlessly matching a brand’s voice. From funnel copywriting that’s sold millions of dollars of digital products and services, to SEO content creation that’s driven tens of thousands of readers to sites, to ad copy for local businesses looking to increase customer orders, I’ve run the gamut of copywriting projects.

Social Media Marketing

I help established brands leverage social media to connect with more of their ideal customers. Whether it’s an author looking to share their work with more readers or a legal firm wanting to provide valuable content online, I’ve worked with several business owners and individuals on optimizing their social media presence — without having to do a single trending TikTok dance.

Notable Work:

  • Harry Norman Realtors is known in the Atlanta market for always having its finger on the pulse of luxury real estate. With an expanding presence and thriving business, they needed help creating corporate marketing materials to attract talent in a competitive job market. I worked with the President of the organization to overhaul their recruitment messaging and develop new collateral for prospective agents.

  • When Honda Marine was gearing up to launch their brand new boat, they needed ad copy across mediums to attract prospective buyers. I partnered with the Creative team at Vert Agency to write ads for social media, and Google search and display to encourage boat buyers to place a quote with Honda.

  • As part of several campaigns for City, I partnered with the creative team at Vert Agency to write ad copy across platforms like Meta, Snapchat, Google Search, and Google Display to promote LTOs and special campaigns designed for BBQ lovers.

  • When CHOA broke ground on their new center for advanced pediatrics, they needed a way to keep the community informed on its progress and encourage donations. I partnered with the creative team at Nebo Agency and wrote the landing page that showcased the building’s vision and encouraged donations.

  • Showcasing my own social media feels a bit gauche… but when you grow an army of 30,000+ readers organically before you have a book deal, it’d be wild NOT to use it as a case study. You can check out my social marketing here and here.

  • The creator of Business By Design, James Wedmore is known in the online coaching space as the go-to for creating successful coaching and course businesses. I wrote for several of James’ launches, providing emails, sales pages, and ad copy that sold millions of dollars of coaching programs and courses.

Today, I spend a good deal of time lost in my head, working on my next novel. However, I love to keep my copywriting and social strategy skills sharp, and take a number of freelance and consulting clients on a case-by-case basis. I work well with brands who are passionate, values-driven, and care about the people they serve.
